FPV -Ab Feline Rapid Tests(FIA)

Feline plague virus is a highly contagious virus that can cause feline pest, also known as feline leukemia and feline infectious enteritis, which is an acute, highly contagious disease in cats. Clinical manifestations include sudden onset of fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, dehydration, circulatory disturbances, and a sharp decrease in leukopenia. Inadequate or unvaccinated cats are susceptible to feline plague, especially kittens between the ages of 3 and 5 months. The main way to get antibodies is vaccination. Each cat has different antibody levels, and the higher the antibody concentration, the lower the chance of contracting the feline plague virus, so it is necessary to test the antibody concentration in the cat.
The FPV Ab test is a method used to detect the presence of antibodies to feline plague virus in cats. This test typically uses immunological techniques, such as ELISA, to detect the presence of antibodies from a cat's blood sample and provide a positive or negative result.
