FHV -Ab Feline Rapid Tests(FIA)

Feline Herpesvirus Antibody refers to the production of antibodies against feline herpesvirus (FHV) in cats. Feline herpesvirus is a common virus that causes upper respiratory tract infections in cats.
Feline herpes virus is mainly transmitted through direct contact with body fluids, feces, or respiratory secretions of infected cats. Infected cats may go through an incubation period after the virus has invaded, followed by a range of symptoms such as sneezing, nasal discharge, eye inflammation, corneal ulcers, conjunctivitis, and mouth sores. Feline herpes virus infection can also cause permanent eye damage and chronic infections of the upper respiratory tract.
The FHV-Ab test is a method used to detect the presence of antibodies to the feline herpes virus in cats.
