The CDV-Ab test is a fluorescence immunoassay used along with Immunofluorescence Analyzer for quantitative determination of distemper virus antibody concentration in serum or plasma. The test can provide a reference for the level of CDV-Ab titer after vaccination of pets and suggest whether it is necessary to vaccinate them again. Another use of the test is an aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of canine distemper virus infection.

CDV-Ab Reference range:

Result(Tu/ml)                       Suggestion

≤ 10                                    No antibody protection, vaccination recommended.

10~ 50                                 The antibody protection is weak, so it is recommended to carry out
supplementary immunization or adjust the immunization program.

10~ 50                                 Moderate antibody protection, strengthen antibody level monitoring,
once every 6 months or so.

       > 200                                  The antibody protection is strong, and the antibody level is tested
every year to know the vaccine protection in time.

Each laboratory should establish a reference range that is representative of the population to be evaluated.
