CAV -Ab Canine Rapid Tests(FIA)

Canine adenovirus antibody refers to antibodies used to detect and treat canine adenovirus (CAV) infection. Canine adenovirus is a virus that causes diseases in dogs, and there are two main types: CAV-1 and CAV-2.
CAV-1 causes Infectious Canine Hepatitis (ICH), a serious canine disease that can lead to liver damage, respiratory infections, and other complications.
CAV-2 is mainly associated with Canine Parainfluenza Virus (CPIV) to cause Canine Infectious Tracheobronchitis, a respiratory infection that manifests itself as symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, and nasal discharge.
Canine adenovirus antibodies play an important role in the diagnosis and prevention of canine adenopathy. They can help veterinarians determine if a dog is infected with adenovirus, as well as determine the severity of the infection. Commonly used assays include enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and immunofluorescence assay (IFA). These methods can detect adenovirus antibody levels in dogs and thus determine the status of infection.
